Patented Compact 3D-2D Sculpted Design combines the natural looks of a three dimensional deer decoy with the portability of a two dimensional deer decoy. Decoy is only 3 inches thick. Back side of decoy is flat and presentation side is sculpted.
Headless body looks like a deer in the feeding position. Dominant bucks are provoked into displays of aggression while waiting on the decoy (deer) to pick up its head and acknowledge their presence. Causes bucks to stay in the area longer and creates multiple shot opportunities.
Sculpted presentation side creates natural looks and lifelike appearance by imaging the natural outline (silhouette), highlights, shadows and tail motion of a deer feeding in the distance. The farther away Total Attraction Deer Decoy is the more lifelike it appears. Decoy comes alive when viewed outdoors and from a distance of 25 feet or more.
Tail swishes every 15 seconds. The tail lifts to one side and then free-falls to its natural down position. The tail motion is positive body language which lets bucks know it's OK to come closer. Single D Cell battery motor (battery not included) powers the tail. Adjustable wing nut holds the tail in place and allows hunters to adjust the tail's swing action to their satisfaction.
